International honours for SALT of Palmar

SALT of Palmar, a The LUX* Collective brand, has recently been named among the World’s Greatest Places by Time Magazine. We are the proud owners of the walls of the hotel and are pleased to see the fruit of investment made in the comprehensive renovation of this unique property.

Combining bold aesthetic with sustainable local practices, this eco-friendly 59-room hotel on the east coast of Mauritius opened in late 2018. Built for “culturally curious” travellers, the
hotel was also awarded in February 2020 the Positive Luxury “Butterfly Mark” for successfully balancing mindful sustainability and top class luxury.

The first progressive Mauritian boutique hotel, SALT of Palmar also marked Bloomage’s first property acquisition in the hotel space.
